Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and engage with them to understand their needs, offering personalized product recommendations. Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system efficiently for transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing. Conduct product demos to highlight features and benefits, encouraging upselling to maximize sales opportunities. Maintain attractive merchandise displays through merchandising and stocking efforts, ensuring the store always looks inviting. Assist with inventory management by organizing stock, conducting stock counts, and replenishing shelves as needed. Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and maintaining positive communication at all times. Support store operations by adhering to phone etiquette standards when interacting with customers over the phone or in person. Qualifications Previous retail sales or cashiering experience preferred; supervisory experience is a plus. Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse customers; bilingual abilities are advantageous. Knowledge of POS systems, cash handling procedures, and basic retail math for accurate transactions. Experience in merchandising, stocking, and product demos within a retail environment such as clothing or grocery stores. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and professional phone etiquette. Ability to perform basic math calculations quickly and accurately to handle sales transactions effectively. Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and organization.
