Job Description
Position Overview We are seeking a dependable, community-rooted hospitality professional to join our team ahead of our property launch.
This is a two-phase role:
a compensated trial period during the renovation and pre-launch phase, followed by a stable part to full-time position upon opening. Candidates who perform well in Phase 1 will be offered the permanent role. We are looking for someone with genuine hospitality experience and deep ties to the local community. When a guest asks where to eat, we want the answer to come from someone who grew up here, has a favorite table, and knows the owner by name, not someone who relocated recently and relies on a search engine. Local knowledge, professional presentation, and a sincere commitment to the guest experience are what set the right candidate apart. If this describes you, please submit a short video introducing yourself, explaining your interest in the role, and speaking to the experience or qualities you would bring to the position. In the subject line of your reply, please include the words "Sweet Springs." Phase 1 —Compensated Trial:
Pre-Launch Property Representative Hourly / Flexible Schedule | During Renovation Period During this phase, the selected candidate will serve as our on-the-ground representative while ownership is not on-site. Responsibilities include scheduled property visits, video documentation of renovation progress, and candid progress reporting. The candidate will also attend vendor and contractor meetings on our behalf, representing the property with professionalism and sound judgment. This phase does not require a fixed schedule, but punctuality, reliability, and clear communication are essential. Candidates who complete this phase successfully will transition directly into the Phase 2 role at launch. Phase 2 — Guest Host & Property Inspector Post-Launch | Stable Shift Schedule | $25-30/hr | Approximately $125 per shift This is a guest-facing hospitality role requiring a high standard of warmth, professionalism, and attention to detail. The Guest Host serves as the first point of contact for all arriving guests and is responsible for creating a welcoming, memorable experience from the moment of arrival through departure. Prior to each shift, the Host will review the day's reservations and prepare accordingly, noting special occasions, guest composition, and any specific needs. This preparation is expected to inform every guest interaction throughout the shift.Shift Schedule AM Shift:
