Amana, Ia Guest Service Agent $15+ Based on experience Flexible availability, weekends and Holidays required. Local Background Check required Position Summary We are seeking a friendly, professional, and customer-focused Front Desk Agent to join our hospitality team. This role is responsible for providing exceptional guest service while managing front desk operations, reservations, and guest communications. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, maintains a positive attitude, and is committed to creating a welcoming experience for every guest. Key Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in and check-out procedures Respond promptly and professionally to guest inquiries, requests, and concerns Manage reservations, cancellations, and modifications accurately using the hotel booking system Provide guests with information regarding hotel amenities, local attractions, and available services Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk and lobby area Ensure guest records and account information are accurate and up-to-date Collaborate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to meet guest needs and ensure smooth hotel operations Handle cash, credit card, and other payment transactions accurately and securely Uphold hotel policies, procedures, and service standards to ensure guest satisfaction and safety Assist in resolving guest issues professionally and efficiently Perform additional duties as assigned by management
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required; additional hospitality training is a plus Previous customer service, hospitality, or front desk experience preferred Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to remain calm, professional, and solution-oriented in a fast-paced environment Basic computer proficiency and experience with reservation or property management systems preferred Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays Positive attitude with a genuine passion for helping guests How to apply: Email resume to cedarrapids@careerpros.com Sedona Staffing is an equal opportunity employer.
