Guest Service Representative

We are seeking a part time evening and weekend Guest Services Representative to warmly welcome our guests and ensure they have a comfortable stay at our hotel. Key responsibilities include greeting clients upon arrival, coordinating their check-ins to assigned rooms, and informing them about the hotel's facilities. The Guest Services Representative should provide exceptional customer service and create memorable hospitality experiences for our guests. Our ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and the ability to resolve issues promptly and accurately. Responsibilities Provide upscale guest service experiences for guests throughout their stay Ensure guests are properly greeted upon their arrival Monitor daily bookings and ensure assigned rooms are prepared prior to check-in Oversee check-in and check-out procedures, including reservations and financial transactions Promptly address guests' requests Actively listen to and resolve complaints Inform guests of our hotel services, including breakfast and dining options Promote all hotel amenities, conveniences and programs offered Manage guest relations by ensuring we comply with all standards and operating procedures Operate switchboard while providing polite service when taking reservations and answering inquiries. Liaise with staff to provide an overall comfortable guest experience Recommend local tourist spots, including places to dine, shop and sight-see Establish friendly relationships with regular hotel clients Work with other departments to ensure that room status are up-to-date and that rooms are marked clean or repaired in a timely manner Promote all marketing programs to our guests Support laundry and common area cleanliness throughout shift. Understanding of basic computer and office machines. Sending / receiving of emails. Making copies. Ability to learn hotel and restaurant operating systems (PMS/POS) Cash control Selling and restocking of C-Store Proficiency in English; knowledge of other languages is a plus Customer service drive with outstanding communication and active listening skills Excellent problem-solving and multitasking skills Leadership skills along with the ability to motivate a team into high performance Ability to work flexible hours Strong sense of responsibility and a professional presentation Eye for detail Laundry Cross training in other departments Cleaning up pool area, fitness room, guest laundry and lobby.
