City of Industry, CA Schedule:
Rotating 12-Hour Shift 1st shift Sunday, Monday, Tuesday 6:00am - 6:30pm 2nd shift Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM Job Summary The Gummy Machine Operator in the Gummy Department is responsible for supporting and executing production operations while ensuring product quality, accurate documentation, and minimal machine downtime. This role involves troubleshooting production line issues, overseeing large-scale manufacturing batches, and maintaining compliance with SOPs and cGMP regulations. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Support and assist with equipment setup and startup of the manufacturing process Perform and assist in cooking, dosing, depositing, and post-processing of gummy products Operate and monitor large-scale gummy and nutraceutical manufacturing batches Troubleshoot production line issues to minimize downtime Monitor and control process parameters to ensure specifications are met Perform quality control checks throughout the manufacturing process Examine products to ensure consistent quality in texture, shape, color, and flavor Complete all batch records, logbooks, and documentation accurately and on time Feed and maintain raw ingredients in hoppers, mix tanks, and manufacturing equipment Perform pre-weighing, batching, curing, and bulk packaging of products Track inventory to ensure availability of raw materials Support assigned personnel and ensure tasks are completed according to schedules, SOPs, and cGMPs Ensure effective communication between shift leads and supervisors during shift transitions Assist with cleaning, sanitation, and housekeeping activities Follow all department SOPs, cGMP regulations, and company policies Maintain a safe work environment and report safety concerns to management Perform other duties as assigned by management #nowhiring Qualifications Previous experience operating manufacturing or production equipment (gummy, food, or nutraceutical preferred) Strong understanding of SOPs and cGMP requirements Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and process issues Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy Ability to work 12-hour rotating night shifts Team-oriented with strong communication skillsSimilar remote jobs
