The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in hair styling techniques, exceptional customer service skills, and a desire to create beautiful looks that enhance our clients' confidence. As a Hair Stylist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality hair services while ensuring a welcoming and professional environment for our clients. Duties Provide a range of hair services including cutting, coloring, styling Utilize salon software for scheduling appointments and managing client records. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tools and workstations to ensure a safe environment for both clients and staff. Assist with front desk operations including greeting clients, answering inquiries, and managing retail sales. Mentor junior stylists or assistants by sharing expertise in hair techniques and customer service practices. Stay updated on the latest trends in hair styling and color theory to provide informed recommendations to clients. Utilize skills to manage inventory effectively and promote product sales. Actively promote salon on social media campaigns through providing content. Qualifications Proven experience as a Hair Stylist with a strong portfolio showcasing your work. Proficiency in various hair styling techniques, including but not limited to cutting, coloring, and special occasion. Familiarity with salon software systems is preferred. Strong understanding of color theory and its application in hair services. Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated. Previous experience in mentoring or training is an advantage but not required.
