Duties Assist owner with with preparing clients for hair treatments, braid take-down, styling, and coloring procedures, braid take-down and base braiding Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards across the salon, including tools, stations, and work areas Support with retail sales by recommending products such as hair care, nail care, and styling accessories to clients - retail coming soon. Manage front desk responsibilities including appointment scheduling using salon software, greeting clients warmly, and handling client inquiries Participate in mentoring sessions Assist in store management tasks such as inventory tracking for retail products and maintaining organized workspaces Skills Knowledge and experience with proper hair shampooing and base braiding Proficiency with salon software systems for scheduling and client management Strong understanding of sanitation practices to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff Excellent communication skills to engage with clients professionally and confidently Basic retail math skills for upselling products effectively while providing excellent customer service.
