Hair Stylist

Responsibilities Provide professional hair styling services such as cuts, blowouts, color treatments, and special occasion styles using advanced techniques like hair extensions and balayage. Consult with clients to understand their desired look and recommend suitable styles, colors, or treatments based on hair type and face shape. Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in accordance with state cosmetology and barbering regulations, including proper sterilization of tools like straight razors. for appointment scheduling, client management, and retail sales tracking. Assist clients with additional services like eyelash extensions, nail care, makeup application, or hair threading to enhance their overall experience. Upsell retail products such as shampoos, conditioners, styling tools, and hair care accessories to meet client needs while achieving sales goals. Support store management by participating in front desk duties, mentoring new team members, and maintaining a positive team environment. Qualifications Valid cosmetology or barbering license required; additional certifications in eyelash extensions or nail care are a plus. Proven experience in hair styling with expertise in color theory, hair extensions, and advanced cutting techniques. Strong knowledge of salon software systems like

for appointments and retail management. Excellent communication skills to effectively connect with clients and understand their styling preferences. Demonstrated ability to perform sanitation procedures meticulously to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff. Experience in store management or mentoring team members is desirable but not mandatory; enthusiasm for continuous learning is essential.
