The ideal candidate will possess a diverse skill set to perform various maintenance and repair tasks in residential and commercial settings. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. The Handy Man will ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. Duties Perform general maintenance and repairs on buildings, fixtures, and other structures. Conduct plumbing repairs, including fixing leaks and installing fixtures. Handle electrical tasks such as replacing outlets, switches, and light fixtures. Utilize tools such as an ohmmeter for electrical diagnostics and troubleshooting. Assemble furniture and equipment as needed. Paint walls, ceilings, and other surfaces to maintain aesthetic appeal. Respond promptly to service requests from clients or management. Maintain a clean and organized work area during all projects. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards. Requirements Proven experience as a Handy Man or in a similar role. Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting heavy objects and standing for extended periods. Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and team members. A valid driver's license may be required for travel between job sites. Flexibility to work varying hours based on project needs. Ability to work independently without supervision. Willingness to purchase materials upfront (reimbursed with receipts). Capable of receiving online payments and issuing professional invoices. Valid ID and completed W9 form required.
