Handyman/Property Caretaker/General Laborer

Part-Time Property Caretaker & Construction Helper We're looking for a motivated, hands-on individual to join our household as a part-time Property Caretaker and Construction Helper. The right person is comfortable collaborating on a variety of construction tasks — framing, light electrical, light plumbing — in addition to general property maintenance and labor.

Responsibilities:

1. Construction & Renovation Work Collaborate on framing, light electrical, and light plumbing projects. Light demolition, drywall patching, and finish work as needed. Setup, cleanup, and material handling during active renovation projects. Operate hand tools and power tools safely and confidently. 2. Property Maintenance General cleanup and upkeep of the property. Mowing, landscaping, planting, and yard work. Digging holes and trenches; basic outdoor projects. 3. General Labor Load and unload materials and equipment. Various physical labor tasks as projects come up.

Requirements:

Some construction, trades, or serious DIY experience — or a strong interest in learning across framing, electrical, and plumbing. Comfortable using hand tools and power tools. Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs. Able to follow instructions carefully and work independently once a task is set. Good communication and reliability. Have:

Prior framing, electrical, or plumbing experience (even informal — helping family, side jobs, vocational classes). Experience with mowing and general yard work. Familiarity with a wider range of trade tools.

Schedule & Pay:

Approximately 20 hours per week with flexible scheduling. $15-$25 per hour, depending on experience. Top of range for candidates with real framing, electrical, or plumbing experience.
