Job Description
Have you always wanted to be that guy the head brewer and greater that brings join to strangers on a bad day? Tired of working for someone else but can't or afraid to leave and try something new? This slow transition out as we build a brand and find a place could be an opportunity. Want to work with other successful entrepreneur looking to start their retirement career 10 years before retirement We are laying the groundwork for a new craft brewery slated to open its doors within the next two years. Our goal is to enter the market with a fully realized, high-quality portfolio of "crushable" favorites and technical standouts. We are looking for a dedicated Brewer to join us early in this journey to lead our R&D phase. In the lead-up to our grand opening, you will work closely with the ownership team to develop and scale small-batch samples. Our target list includes clean Lagers , refreshing Session ales, and a distinct contrast of East Coast (Hazy) and West Coast (Clear/Bitter) IPAs.

We are looking for more than just an employee. For the right candidate, we are open to discussing partnership opportunities or profit-sharing models , particularly for those interested in investing their time, expertise, or capital into the brewery's long-term success.Core Responsibilities Recipe Development:
Design and execute a diverse pilot program to establish our flagship lineup (Ales, Lagers, Sessions, and IPAs).Full-Cycle Production:
Manage the entire brewing lifecycle—from initial milling and mashing through to fermentation and final conditioning.Yeast Mastery:
Direct all yeast management protocols, including harvesting, cropping, and propagation, to ensure consistent house flavor profiles.Technical Oversight:
Operate and troubleshoot brewhouse machinery, including pumps, heat exchangers, and fermentation vessels.Cellar & Packaging:
Maintain a rigorous carbonation and packaging schedule (kegs, cans, and bottles) while ensuring the highest product stability.Quality & Safety:
Uphold strict CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices) and sanitation standards to keep the facility "audit-ready" at all times.Candidate Requirements Professional Experience:
Minimum of 5+ years (5-7 preferred) of independent wort production. You must be comfortable managing a system of 5 BBLs or larger.Technical Proficiency:
A deep understanding of brewing chemistry, hop utilization, and the mechanical nuances of a professional brewhouse. Attention toDetail:
Meticulous record-keeping and a "cleaner-first" mentality regarding sanitation and food safety.Adaptability:
The ability to work independently during the R&D phase and collaborate effectively as the team grows.Mechanical Aptitude:
Comfortable performing basic maintenance and troubleshooting on brewing and packaging hardware. Preferred Skills Experience with warehouse logistics and inventory management within the food/beverage industry. A passion for both traditional styles (Lagers) and modern trends (East/West IPAs).
