Head Housekeeper

Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Head Housekeeper to lead our housekeeping team in delivering exceptional cleanliness and comfort across our hospitality facilities. Duties Lead, motivate, and manage the housekeeping team to maintain impeccable standards of cleanliness throughout all areas of the property. Develop and implement cleaning schedules, protocols, and quality control measures to ensure consistent service excellence. Oversee cleaning activities including floor care, dusting, sanitation of guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas. Coordinate with other departments to facilitate smooth operations and address any maintenance or cleaning issues promptly. Conduct regular inspections to monitor cleanliness levels, safety compliance, and equipment functionality. Train staff on proper cleaning techniques, safety procedures, and hospitality best practices. Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring cost-effective procurement and usage. Qualifications Proven experience in hotel housekeeping management or custodial leadership roles with a strong background in janitorial and industrial cleaning. Extensive knowledge of cleaning techniques, floor care methods, and sanitation standards within hospitality environments. Previous hotel or hospitality industry experience is highly preferred. Strong leadership skills with the ability to train, motivate, and supervise a diverse team effectively. Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail to uphold high standards of cleanliness. Ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently in a dynamic setting. Knowledge of safety regulations related to industrial cleaning equipment and chemicals is desirable.
