The Head of Legal and Compliance, North America will be responsible for leading the Legal function for the North America Region, ensuring strong governance, regulatory adherence, and commercially sound legal support in the company's largest and most complex market. This hire will act as a trusted partner to regional leadership, embedding a culture of integrity and compliance with law while enabling business growth in a complex legal and regulatory environment. Core Responsibilities 1. Strategic Legal & Business Partnering Advise the North America Leadership Team on legal and compliance matters impacting strategy and operations Ensure balanced, pragmatic risk-taking aligned with business objectives Support major transactions, partnerships, and commercial initiatives 2. Legal Risk & Litigation and Employment Law Oversight Oversee litigation strategy, employment support and and dispute resolution across the region Ensure proactive risk identification and mitigation, including claims and early dispute management Manage external counsel relationships, ensuring quality outcomes and cost discipline 3. Commercial & Contracting Excellence Lead oversight of complex commercial contracting and negotiations and development of innovative business models to ensure compliance with complex legal and regulatory requirements Ensure proper structuring of deals to mitigate legal and financial exposure Support business teams in navigating contractual risk in large-scale projects 4. Functional Leadership Lead and develop a high-performing Legal team Drive cross-functional collaboration with compliance, finance, HR, quality/regulatory and business units Contribute to the global Legal & Compliance agenda and transformation Profile & Experience Qualified lawyer, licensed to practice law in the United States, with extensive experience in Legal & Compliance leadership roles Strong track record in regulated industries, especially healthcare. The base pay range for this position is: $280,000 - $385,000 Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. If this is a commission eligible position the commission eligibility will be in accordance with the terms of the Company's plan. Commissions are based on individual performance and/or company performance.
