Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES
Kforce's client, a logistics company in Orlando, FL is seeking a Head of Quoting to build and lead a critical quoting function that supports procurement and supply chain execution. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate, timely, and competitive supplier quotes that enable successful fulfillment of customer requirements. The Head of Quoting blends supplier relationship management, operational leadership, and process development, serving as a key connection point between external suppliers and internal operations.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and manage a portfolio of distributor and OEM supplier relationships to support quoting and sourcing needs
  • Lead the end-to-end quoting process, including RFQ issuance, follow-up, validation, and delivery of completed quotes to internal teams
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to prioritize quoting activity based on urgency, availability, and business impact
  • Negotiate and maintain supplier agreements and preferred-vendor relationships to improve pricing access, responsiveness, and lead-time visibility
  • Build, train, and manage a scalable quoting team as the business grows
  • Define and enforce service level expectations related to quote turnaround time, accuracy, and supplier responsiveness
  • Monitor supplier feedback related to availability, lead times, obsolescence, and sourcing challenges, sharing insights with internal teams
  • Track and report quoting performance metrics including volume, turnaround time, win rates, and supplier responsiveness
  • Develop alternate sourcing strategies for constrained or high-risk components
  • Partner with internal technology teams to improve quoting workflows, reporting, and data-driven decision-making
  • Represent the company professionally with suppliers and industry partners
REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
  • Hands-on experience with quoting and supplier engagement in a parts-based supply chain environment
  • Strong understanding of aerospace parts distribution, including pricing dynamics, inventory availability, lead times, and traceability expectations
  • Demonstrated experience building and leading a quoting, inside sales, or supply chain operations team
  • Proven ability to establish processes, track performance, and drive accountability
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills across internal and external stakeholders
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-growing environment where processes are built and refined over time
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience using parts management or quoting platforms (e.g., ERP, supply chain, or sourcing systems)
  • Knowledge of quality standards and supply chain compliance concepts
  • Experience working with technology-enabled or data-driven procurement functions The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role.
We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future. We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
