4/8/2026 Job Summary Summer is calling! Are you ready to spend your summer leading a group of campers on a journey filled with amazing learning experiences, laughter, and lifelong memories? If you are up for the challenge, we want you to join our team as a Head Pool Lifeguard at our day camp, Camp Cedar Hill, located in Waltham, MA We are looking for individuals who are energetic and have a passion for working with youth. Girl Scouts of Eastern Massachusetts (GSEMA) offers invaluable skill-building, leadership, training, and enrichment opportunities that can't be found anywhere else. This position requires you to be at least 21 years of age (as of June 15, 2026) and have experience supervising others. If you do not have current Red Cross Lifeguard Training but you have a willingness to become certified, we offer training - FOR FREE! Job Qualifications

• Age 21+ by June 15, 2026
• Experience supervising staff
• Either currently OR have a willingness to become a Red Cross Trained Lifeguard (or equivalent) as well as Red Cross First Aid and CPR certified.
• Desire and ability to work with children outdoors.
• Ability to assist in teaching an activity.
• Enthusiasm, sense of humor, patience, self-control.
• Ability to work within the camp environment (work may be indoors or outdoors and may be hot, humid, rainy or cool weather.)
• Ability to effectively identify, analyze and solve practical problems and successfully manage a variety of variables and personalities; ability to adapt in a changing environment.

Other Requirements:
