In this role, you will serve as a compassionate liaison between families, community resources, and early childhood programs. Your energetic approach will help build strong relationships, promote family engagement, and ensure children's well-being through proactive support and advocacy. Responsibilities:
Develop trusting relationships with families to assess their needs and provide tailored support strategies. Connect families to essential community resources such as childcare services, healthcare, housing assistance, and family law support. Advocate for children's safety by ensuring compliance with child protective services protocols and reporting any concerns appropriately. Assist families in navigating complex systems related to child welfare, behavioral health, and conflict management. Conduct home visits and facilitate parent education workshops to promote positive parenting practices. Respond promptly to crisis situations involving children or families by implementing effective crisis management and intervention techniques. Maintain detailed records of family interactions, service plans, and progress reports to ensure continuous support and accountability. Proven experience working with children and families within social work, child welfare, or related fields. Knowledge of child protective services procedures, family law, and behavioral health practices. Strong skills in crisis intervention and crisis management to handle sensitive situations effectively. Familiarity with childcare standards, conflict management strategies, and family engagement techniques. Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse populations. Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail. Prior experience in community outreach or advocacy roles is highly desirable.
