Head Start Family Advocate

The Clinch-Powell Educational Cooperative Head Start Program is seeking to fill the position of Family Advocate for our Fairview (Scott County) and Elk Valley (Campbell County) locations. The Family Advocate will service both locations. This position requires a self-motivated individual with experience in providing social services to families. Responsibilities will include program recruitment, home-visiting, providing transportation to children for medical appointments, the ability to professionally document and maintain program records, and proficient data-entry skills. Priority will be given to applicants with an Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Child Development, or related field. A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) may be required upon employment depending on location. This position is a full-time, five-days per week, eleven-months-per-year position.
