RWC is a vibrant and supportive senior living community committed to enhancing the well-being and quality of life for our residents. We are seeking a caring, creative, and outgoing activity assistant to help plan and deliver engaging programs that promote wellness, connection, and joy among our residents.
Responsibilities:
Assist with the planning, setup, and implementation of daily, weekly, and monthly activity programs (games, crafts, music, outings, themed events, etc.) Engage with resident's one-on-one and in group settings to encourage involvement. Escort and assist residents during outings or special events. Support residents with mobility or other needs during activities. Maintain activity spaces, supplies, and equipment. Help promote upcoming activities through flyers, calendars, and announcements.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent Prior experience working with seniors is a plus Friendly, patient, and professional demeanor. Ability to lead low- to moderate-impact fitness activities. Excellent communication and motivational skills. Must be able to lift 25 lbs. and assist residents as needed.
