Responsibilities:

• Perform acupuncture treatments on patients using sterile needles and aseptic technique
• Assess patients' conditions and develop individualized treatment plans
• Apply knowledge of anatomy and physiology to target specific areas for treatment
• Utilize trigger point therapy to alleviate pain and promote healing
• Provide acupuncture services to patients of all ages, including pediatrics
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care

Requirements:

• Valid certification or license as an acupuncturist
• In-depth knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and pathology
• Proficiency in aseptic technique to ensure patient safety
• Strong patient assessment skills to determine appropriate treatment plans
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to provide exceptional patient service
• Ability to work in a hospital or clinical setting, adhering to all relevant regulations and protocols
• Experience in acute pain management is preferred but not required Preferred but not required ASHP contracted, Medicare and optum.
