You will utilize your expertise in traditional Chinese medicine principles combined with modern techniques to assess patient needs, develop personalized treatment plans, and provide compassionate care. Duties Conduct thorough patient assessments, including physical examinations and review of medical history, to determine suitability for acupuncture therapy. Develop individualized treatment plans targeting specific conditions such as acute pain, chronic pain, or musculoskeletal issues. Perform acupuncture procedures using sterile techniques, ensuring proper needle placement based on anatomy knowledge and physiology principles. Apply specialized techniques such as trigger point therapy to release muscle tension and reduce pain. Educate patients on treatment processes, expected outcomes, and self-care practices to support ongoing health management. Maintain accurate documentation of patient treatments, progress notes, and treatment outcomes in compliance with medical terminology standards. Ensure a safe and hygienic environment by adhering to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols at all times. Skills Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology relevant to acupuncture practice. Expertise in managing acute pain and utilizing trigger point therapy effectively. Excellent patient service skills with a compassionate approach to patient care and education. Proficiency in performing physical examinations and patient assessments to inform treatment strategies. Ability to apply aseptic techniques consistently for safe needle insertion and removal. Effective communication skills for explaining procedures clearly and building trust with patients.
