In this role, you will deliver expert acupuncture treatments aimed at alleviating pain, improving overall wellness, and supporting patient recovery. Your expertise in traditional Chinese medicine combined with your understanding of physiology and anatomy will help you assess patient needs accurately and develop personalized treatment plans. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including physical examinations and medical history reviews, to determine suitability for acupuncture therapy. Develop customized treatment plans targeting acute pain management, trigger point therapy, and other health concerns. Perform acupuncture procedures using aseptic techniques to ensure safety and prevent infection. Apply knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology to explain treatment processes and expected outcomes clearly to patients. Utilize various techniques such as trigger point therapy and pain management strategies to optimize patient results. Monitor patient progress throughout treatment sessions, adjusting techniques as necessary for maximum benefit. Educate patients on self-care practices and lifestyle modifications to enhance healing and overall wellness. Experience Proven experience in acupuncture practice with a focus on pain management and trigger point therapy preferred. Strong knowledge of human physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to acupuncture treatments. Experience performing physical examinations and patient assessments in a clinical setting. Familiarity with aseptic technique standards to maintain a safe treatment environment. Excellent patient service skills with a compassionate approach to care delivery. Ability to communicate complex medical concepts clearly and effectively to diverse patients. Prior experience working with patients experiencing acute or chronic pain is highly desirable.
