Acupuncturist Firewood Acupuncture Denver, CO Job Details Part-time $45 - $50 an hour 17 hours ago Benefits Flexible schedule Qualifications CPR Certification Anatomy knowledge BLS Certification Acupuncture Acupuncture License Medical terminology Patient observation Full Job Description Job Overview I am seeking a third, skilled, and compassionate Acupuncturist to join my 2-person clinic in the heart of Denver. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of acupuncture techniques and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care. You will be responsible for assessing patients' needs, and delivering acupuncture to promote overall wellness. Available work times include all day Sundays (this is a must) , with an option to also work Monday mornings and Thursday mornings. You can set your own hours on these days! Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine individual treatment needs. Develop personalized acupuncture treatment plans based on patient evaluations. Administer acupuncture treatments while ensuring patient comfort and safety. Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary. Educate patients on the benefits of acupuncture and provide guidance on complementary therapies. Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care. Adhere to clean needle techniques to ensure a safe treatment environment. Skills Comfortable talking about relevant Chinese Medicine terminology and communicating it in a way that the patient will understand. Ability to demonstrate empathy and understanding towards patients' needs. Great observation and listening skills. Comfortable with treating pain and strong knowledge of anatomy. Strong patient assessment skills to diagnose and treat patients effectively. Comfortable with treating 2 patients per hour (can also start with one patient per hour if that feels better for you) Familiar with EHR software and charting (even better if you know Unified Practice, but not a deal breaker) Proficient in adjunct therapies like fire cupping, moxibustion, e-stim, and gua sha. Facial Rejuvenation or Microneedling certified (but not required) CPR Certification is preferred for emergency preparedness. Valid certification in acupuncture from an accredited institution is required. Familiarity with clean needle technique to maintain high standards of hygiene during treatments. This job will be a slow-build. We are a very busy clinic, and definitely need help, but it may take a few months for you to get your schedule full. I will do my best to get you there. I run a 2-room clinic in central Denver with amazing foot traffic at a clinic that has a storefront. 90% of my practice comes from patients who live in the neighborhood and word-of-mouth referrals (and referrals from other body workers). Built in pay raises at 6 months and one year! We are generalists and treat a wide variety of patients ranging from infertility to pain management, fatigue, digestive upset, women's health, headaches, cosmetic acupuncture, the list goes on and on.
