The ideal candidate will have a strong background in patient care and a deep understanding of acupuncture techniques. This role involves assessing patients' needs, developing treatment plans, and providing high-quality acupuncture services to promote wellness and pain management. Duties Perform acupuncture treatments to address a variety of health concerns, including pain management, stress reduction, digestive issues, and more. Conduct thorough patient consultations, including health assessments, medical history, and treatment planning. Create individualized treatment plans and adjust protocols based on patient progress. Educate clients on lifestyle modifications, herbal remedies, and other complementary therapies to enhance healing. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, following HIPAA guidelines. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care. Stay current with acupuncture techniques, research, and continuing education. Provide excellent customer service and maintain a welcoming, professional atmosphere. Skills Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology relevant to acupuncture practices. Proficiency in patient care techniques, ensuring a compassionate approach to treatment. Certification in acupuncture from an accredited institution is required. Aseptic technique expertise to maintain a sterile environment during treatments. CPR Certification is preferred for emergency preparedness. Experience in pain management strategies tailored to individual patient needs. Excellent patient service skills, fostering a welcoming and supportive environment for clients. Familiarity with medical terminology to effectively communicate within the healthcare setting. Ability to perform physical examinations as part of the assessment process for treatment planning. Qualifications Must be a Licensed Acupuncturist in Colorado (L.Ac. or equivalent). Strong understanding of traditional Chinese medicine, acupuncture techniques, and patient care. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a team. Experience in treating a wide range of health concerns is preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply. Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
