In this vital role, you will provide expert acupuncture treatments aimed at alleviating pain, improving overall wellness, and supporting patient recovery. Your expertise will help patients achieve better health outcomes through personalized care using traditional Chinese medicine techniques combined with modern understanding of physiology and anatomy. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in patients' lives while working in a collaborative and supportive environment and building your practice in a modern wellness facility. Duties Conduct thorough patient assessments, including physical examinations and medical history reviews, to determine appropriate acupuncture treatments Develop customized treatment plans targeting acute pain management, trigger point therapy, and other health concerns Perform acupuncture procedures using aseptic techniques to ensure safety and hygiene standards are maintained Utilize knowledge of physiology and anatomy to identify trigger points and areas requiring intervention Educate patients on pain management strategies, lifestyle modifications, and self-care practices to support ongoing wellness Maintain detailed documentation of patient treatments, progress notes, and treatment outcomes in compliance with healthcare regulations Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care plans Requirements Valid MA licensure as a Licensed Acupuncturist or equivalent credential Proven experience in patient service, patient care, and delivering effective acupuncture treatments Strong understanding of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to acupuncture practice Skilled in physical examinations and patient assessment techniques for accurate diagnosis and treatment planning Knowledge of pain management techniques including trigger point therapy and acute pain relief methods Commitment to maintaining aseptic technique standards during all procedures Excellent communication skills to educate patients effectively and foster a supportive environment Join us if you're eager to apply your expertise in acupuncture while helping patients achieve relief from pain and improved quality of life.
