In this role, you will deliver expert acupuncture treatments designed to alleviate pain, improve well-being, and promote holistic health. Your expertise will help patients manage acute pain, recover from injuries, and enhance their overall quality of life through personalized care. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in patients' health journeys while working in a supportive and innovative environment. Duties Perform acupuncture treatments targeting various conditions, including acute pain management and chronic ailments Conduct thorough patient assessments through physical examinations and detailed health histories Apply acupuncture techniques to relieve muscle tension and reduce pain Educate patients on treatment plans, self-care practices, and lifestyle modifications to support ongoing wellness Maintain strict aseptic techniques to ensure safe and hygienic treatment environments Document patient progress, treatment details, and outcomes accurately in medical records using appropriate medical terminology Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive care plans tailored to individual patient needs Requirements Valid National Board certification and NC state license to practice acupuncture in North Carolina Medical malpractice insurance Proven experience in pain management, internal medicine (TCM), and general patient care Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology related to acupuncture and pain management Ability to perform physical examinations and patient assessments effectively Excellent communication skills with a focus on compassionate patient service and education A proactive approach to patient care with a commitment to improving health outcomes Join us if you're eager to bring your expertise in acupuncture into a vibrant setting where your skills can truly transform lives.
