Position Overview We are seeking a passionate and skilled Licensed Acupuncturist to join our dynamic multidisciplinary healthcare team. In this role, you will deliver expert acupuncture treatments aimed at alleviating pain, improving overall wellness, and supporting patient recovery. Your expertise in traditional Chinese medicine combined with your understanding of physiology and anatomy will help provide personalized care that enhances our patients' quality of life. You will have meaningful autonomy in your treatment approach while contributing to a coordinated, whole-body care model that sets Elite apart. Hours and schedule are flexible and can be tailored around the right candidate. Clinical Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including physical examinations and medical history reviews, to determine appropriate acupuncture treatment plans Perform acupuncture procedures using sterile, aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety and optimal results Utilize specialized techniques such as trigger point therapy, sports acupuncture, dry needling, cupping, electro-acupuncture, and auricular acupuncture Educate patients on their conditions, treatment options, and self-care strategies to support ongoing wellness Collaborate with the Lead Chiropractor, OT/COTA, and Massage Therapist in developing and carrying out integrated care plans Contribute valuable clinical input during daily morning staff meetings and care planning discussions Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation and billing in Dr. Chrono EMR under personal login (all notes due by Friday at 11:59 PM weekly) Stay current with advancements in acupuncture methods, physiology, and pain management techniques to continually enhance service quality Required Qualifications Current license to practice acupuncture in the State of New Jersey National board certification (NCCAOM) in good standing Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to acupuncture practice Demonstrated ability to perform physical examinations and patient assessments accurately Commitment to maintaining aseptic technique standards for safe treatment delivery Excellent communication skills for effective patient education and team collaboration Ability to handle diverse cases involving acute pain management and complex health conditions Proficiency with electronic medical records systems Preferred Qualifications Certification or experience in sports acupuncture Certification or training in dry needling Experience with cupping, electro-acupuncture, or auricular acupuncture Background working with athletes or active populations Experience with Dr. Chrono or similar EMR platforms Proven experience in patient service with a focus on pain management and trigger point therapy Compensation Hourly (1099): $55-$60/hour depending on experience Salary (W2): $90,000-$100,000/year depending on experience Annual 3% raise on base compensation Benefits & Perks Insurance stipend provided Complimentary gym membership Two uniforms provided at no cost Paid major holidays: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day 3-5 Personal days (PTO) + 3 paid sick days after probationary period 1 paid floating holiday (with advance approval) Certification courses and travel expenses covered if additional certifications are required Annual performance reviews with structured feedback Independent billing authority after probationary period Why Elite Chiropractic and Recovery?
