Job Description

Overview We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Acupuncturist to join our holistic health team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of acupuncture techniques and a strong knowledge of human anatomy, allowing them to provide effective treatments tailored to individual patient needs. This role is vital in promoting wellness and alleviating various health conditions through traditional Chinese medicine practices. Responsibilities Conduct thorough assessments of patients' health histories and current conditions to develop personalised treatment plans. Administer acupuncture treatments using sterile needles, ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout the process. Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal results. Educate patients on the benefits of acupuncture and complementary therapies, providing guidance on lifestyle changes that support their health goals. Maintain accurate records of patient treatments, progress, and any relevant observations in accordance with clinic policies. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care for patients. Stay updated on advancements in acupuncture techniques and holistic health practices through continuous professional development. Skills Strong knowledge of human anatomy, particularly as it relates to acupuncture points and meridian systems. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts in an understandable manner. Empathy and a genuine desire to help others improve their health and wellbeing. Attention to detail, ensuring precision in treatment administration and record keeping. Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team. Strong organisational skills to manage patient schedules effectively.
