Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Licensed Acupuncturist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of traditional Chinese medicine, combined with a strong commitment to patient care and wellness. As a Licensed Acupuncturist, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive acupuncture treatments, assessing patient needs, and developing personalized care plans to promote healing and pain relief. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in patients' lives through holistic health practices within a professional and supportive environment. Responsibilities Perform detailed patient assessments, including physical examinations and medical history reviews, to determine appropriate acupuncture treatments. Develop individualized treatment plans targeting acute pain management, trigger point therapy, and overall wellness improvement. Administer acupuncture sessions using aseptic techniques to ensure safety and hygiene standards are maintained at all times. Utilize knowledge of physiology and anatomy to identify key trigger points and areas requiring intervention. Educate patients on the benefits of acupuncture, including pain management strategies and lifestyle modifications. Maintain accurate documentation of treatment procedures, patient progress, and clinical notes in accordance with medical terminology standards. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care and optimize treatment outcomes. Stay current with advances in acupuncture techniques, physiology knowledge, and best practices in patient service. Experience Valid licensure as an Acupuncturist with certification from a recognized licensing board or authority. Proven experience in acute pain management, trigger point therapy, and general patient care within a clinical setting. Strong understanding of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to acupuncture practice. Demonstrated ability to perform physical examinations and conduct thorough patient assessments. Knowledge of aseptic techniques essential for maintaining safety during treatments. Prior experience working with diverse patient populations is preferred to ensure inclusive care delivery. Excellent communication skills coupled with a compassionate approach to patient service and education.
