Wild Hearts Wellness is an established female-run and provider-owned clinic in the Beaumont-Wilshire neighborhood in NE Portland. In addition to acupuncture, we offer massage, herbal medicine, naturopathic medicine, chiropractic, nutritional therapy and vibrational sound healing. We won Willamette Week's Best Acupuncture and Best Alternative or Natural Health Clinic, and pride ourselves on being a clinic where patients feel at home and well-taken care of. We also have an attached movement space where we host yoga, qigong, and breathwork classes/workshops. Position Overview We are looking for a compassionate and motivated provider to join our team. We are looking for weekend coverage on Fridays and Saturdays. We treat a variety of patients and are looking for someone who is as equally versed in pain management as they are in mental-emotional health, women's health, digestive issues, or other concerns. We truly offer a refuge where our patients are able to leave their worries at the door, ideal candidates will be able to hold this space while also working as effective clinicians.
Some questions to consider:
Are you passionate about our medicine and energized by treating patients? Are you interested in working as a provider and having someone else do the administrative work? Are you able to manage 2 rooms gracefully and effectively? (Not a requirement but preferred). Are you excited about acute & chronic pain management/rehabilitation and comfortable treating and charting for sports, work and car accident injuries? Are you as confident in treating pain/injuries as you are in treating emotional trauma, menstrual irregularities, digestive concerns, or other internal imbalances? We see a wide array of patients and are looking for someone who can support all types of conditions. Are you familiar with utilizing Jane or other EHR and practice management software? Are you comfortable working with insurance companies or have the motivation to learn? Current credentialing and experience working with insurance billing is a big plus as we see about 80% insurance patients. Preference will be given to providers who already have some credentialing. We also will help with the credentialing process for the right candidate. Do you have experience working with Massage to facilitate appropriate referrals and optimize patient care? Requirements Current Oregon Acupuncture License Current Liability Insurance Should be comfortable with using electronic medical records or be able to learn these systems quickly Some knowledge and experience with SOAP notes Be able to work independently but also be a team player Strong communication skills Enjoys participating in marketing, team building, performance improvement, and shared learning opportunities.
Compensation:
Tiered percentage split (50-90%) plus tips and commission of herbal sales. Also willing to do a rate/session for the right candidate. Percentage split increases after one year. License reimbursement (after one year) Malpractice Insurance reimbursement (after 2 years) CEU reimbursement (starts after three years and increases with amount of time at the clinic) Discount on our event space rental for any classes/events you would like to host.
