Overview Meeha Mindbody Acupuncture in Portland, Oregon is looking for a Licensed Acupuncturist to join our team for the long term . The founder, Dr. Denise Adán, focuses on creating a safe, gentle space for healing. Her work centers on nervous system regulation, culturally competent care, and cultivating awareness . We are now looking for a kind practitioner whose skills will add to ours. Together, we will offer holistic pain relief, stress management, and comprehensive wellness options . We are looking to launch a small community room to offer community acupuncture, community Alpha-Stim Therapy and wellness focused classes. If you are interested in teaching classes you are welcome to develop and teach while we support the marketing. - Conduct thorough assessments of patients' health histories and current conditions to develop personalized acupuncture treatment plans. Treatment Quality
- Administer safe and effective acupuncture sessions ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout each treatment. Having a strong ability to treat pain, having comfort and confidence around trauma and mental health is preferred. Time Management
- Ability to turn over rooms, administer treatments and reschedule patients while staying on time. Two treatment rooms are available. Communication
- Inform patients on the benefits of acupuncture and other complementary therapies to support their overall wellness journey. Confidence in speaking skills are a plus especially if teaching classes or doing out reach. Charting
- Maintain detailed, accurate records of treatments provided, patient progress, and any observations relevant to ongoing care done in a timely manner Administrative Duties
- Execute the filing of any necessary documents, such as Medical Necessity Reviews, to get further acupuncture treatments approved for patients. Case Management
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive treatment approaches tailored to individual needs. Clinic Care
- Manage a clean clinic environment by doing laundry, sterilizing cups, light Swiffering or dusting and restocking work stations. Licensing
- Ensure compliance with all state licensing requirements, health regulations, and safety protocols at all times.
Qualifications Valid state licensure as a Licensed Acupuncturist or equivalent credential. 2 years of proven experience in providing acupuncture treatments within a clinical or wellness setting. Strong knowledge of traditional Chinese medicine principles and modern integrative health practices. Excellent communication skills to clearly explain procedures and address patient concerns effectively. Ability to work independently while maintaining high standards of professionalism and patient care. Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with industry best practices. Compensation:
Independent Contractor Position:
50% of TOS and insurance payouts for the first 6 month. If the fit is right compensation may increase of up to 60% based on performance. Insruance credentialing will be paid by Meeha Mindbody Acupuncture.

The work day is divided into two shifts AM 9a-2p and PM 2p-7p.
