Duties Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including physical examinations and evaluation of medical history, to determine appropriate acupuncture treatments. Develop tailored treatment plans focused on managing acute pain, chronic conditions, or specific health concerns. Administer acupuncture using sterile techniques, ensuring patient safety and comfort at all times. Utilize specialized techniques such as trigger point therapy to target muscle knots and relieve pain effectively. Educate patients on their condition, treatment process, and self-care practices to support ongoing health management. Maintain accurate and detailed medical records, documenting treatment progress and patient responses. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate holistic care strategies and optimize patient outcomes. Skills Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to acupuncture and holistic health. Proven experience in acute pain management and trigger point therapy techniques. Excellent patient service skills with a compassionate approach to patient care and education. Proficiency in performing physical examinations and patient assessments to inform treatment strategies. Adherence to aseptic techniques and safety standards to prevent infections and ensure a sterile environment. Ability to communicate complex health concepts clearly and effectively to diverse patients.
