Job Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Front Desk Receptionist / Acupuncture Assistant, where your energetic and positive attitude will set the tone for an exceptional patient experience. In this vital role, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients and visitors, managing front desk operations while providing essential support to practitioners in acupuncture and integrative medicine settings. Your proactive approach will ensure smooth clinic flow, accurate administrative support, and compassionate patient care. Responsibilities Greet patients and visitors warmly, creating a welcoming and professional atmosphere Lead acquisition and New Patient onboarding Manage patient check-in and check-out processes efficiently using Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems Schedule appointments, confirm bookings, and handle patient inquiries with clarity and enthusiasm Assist practitioners with basic clinical tasks such as taking vital signs, managing schedules and preparing treatment rooms Support administrative duties including billing, insurance verification, and maintaining accurate medical records Ensure clinic cleanliness and organization of common spaces Communicate effectively with patients regarding treatment procedures, medication instructions, and follow-up care Experience Prior experience in medical administrative support or front desk roles within healthcare settings is preferred Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and pharmacology enhances patient interactions is great, but not necessary - training is provided and paid! Experience working with Electronic Health Records (EHR/EHR systems) such as EMR platforms is highly desirable Familiarity with outpatient clinics or integrative medicine practices is a plus Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Strong interpersonal skills with a passion for delivering outstanding patient service Join us to be part of a compassionate team dedicated to promoting wellness through holistic care. Pay:
$16.00 - $17.00 per hour
