In this role, you will provide expert acupuncture treatments and consulting in a high volume, admin supported environment so you can focus on patient care. Your passion for patient care and commitment to holistic health will help improve the well-being of our diverse patient community. Responsibilities Perform quick and comprehensive patient assessments, including physical examinations and medical history reviews, to develop personalized treatment plans. Administer acupuncture treatments, consult on self care practices, and administer herbal remedies and supplements with knowledge and care. Manage acute pain conditions by applying targeted acupuncture strategies tailored to individual needs - knowledge of cupping/gua sha, E-stim, and cosmetic acupuncture a plus but not necessary. Utilize Electronic Medical Records (EMR/EHR) systems to document patient visits accurately, track progress, and maintain detailed treatment records. Conduct patient education on the benefits of acupuncture, pain management strategies, and lifestyle modifications for optimal health outcomes. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to integrate acupuncture into broader pain medicine and healthcare diagnosis plans. Maintain a clean, safe, and sterile treatment environment adhering to all health regulations and aseptic techniques. Qualifications Valid licensure as a Licensed Acupuncturist in accordance with state or national regulations. Proven experience in acute pain management, trigger point therapy, and physical examinations. Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and healthcare diagnosis procedures. Proficiency in Electronic Health Records (EHR) management systems for accurate documentation. Excellent patient service skills with a compassionate approach to direct patient care. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
