Acupuncurist - Womens Health

Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and skilled Acupuncturist specializing in Women's Health to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will provide expert acupuncture treatments tailored to women's unique health needs, focusing on fertility, pregnancy, postpartum, and beyond. This is a paid contract position within our office with the option to transition to your own business operation as you grow. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including physical examinations and detailed health histories, to determine appropriate acupuncture treatment plans. Perform acupuncture procedures targeting women's health concerns such as hormonal imbalances, menstrual discomfort, fertility issues, menopause symptoms, and pregnancy support. Utilize advanced techniques such as trigger point therapy and acute pain management to provide effective relief for various conditions. Apply aseptic techniques rigorously to ensure safe and hygienic treatment environments. Educate patients on physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology related to their conditions to foster understanding and engagement in their health journey. Monitor patient responses during sessions, adjusting treatments as needed for optimal outcomes. Maintain accurate documentation of treatments, patient progress, and medical records in compliance with healthcare standards. Ensure all treatments adhere to safety protocols including CPR Certification and BLS Certification requirements. Experience Proven experience as an acupuncturist with a focus on women's health or holistic therapies. Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology relevant to reproductive health and pain management. Skilled in patient service and patient care with a compassionate approach tailored to individual needs. Demonstrated expertise in trigger point therapy, acute pain management, and pain relief techniques. Familiarity with aseptic technique standards and maintaining a sterile environment during procedures. Certifications such as CPR Certification and BLS Certification are required; additional training in acupuncture modalities is preferred. Ability to perform thorough patient assessments including physical examinations and applying appropriate treatment strategies.
