Mentorship and on the job training available. Bring your skills, let's grow together. We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Licensed Acupuncturist to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this role, you will provide expert acupuncture treatments aimed at alleviating pain, promoting healing, and enhancing overall well-being. Your expertise will help patients manage acute and chronic pain conditions, women's hormonal health, pregnancy and fertility, through personalized care plans, combining traditional techniques with modern medical understanding. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in patients' lives while working in a supportive, energetic environment committed to holistic health. Duties Conduct comprehensive patient assessments including physical examinations and medical history reviews to determine appropriate acupuncture treatment plans Perform acupuncture procedures utilizing sterile techniques and precise needle placement to target specific pain points and physiological imbalances Apply trigger point therapy and other advanced techniques to relieve muscle tension, reduce inflammation, and manage acute pain episodes Educate patients on their conditions, treatment options, and self-care practices to support ongoing health improvements Maintain accurate documentation of treatments, patient progress, and clinical notes in compliance with healthcare regulations Ensure aseptic technique standards are upheld during all procedures to guarantee patient safety and prevent infections Skills Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to acupuncture and pain management Proven experience in acute pain management, trigger point therapy, and Chinese medicine therapeutics for hormonal wellness and comprehensive patient care Excellent patient service skills with the ability to assess individual needs and tailor treatments accordingly Proficiency in performing physical examinations and patient assessments with attention to detail Ability to communicate complex health concepts clearly and compassionately to diverse patient populations Familiarity with aseptic techniques and maintaining a sterile environment during procedures Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development within the field of acupuncture and holistic health Skilled Chinese Herbal Medicine knowledge a plus.
