Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and skilled Licensed Acupuncturist to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this role, you will provide expert acupuncture treatments aimed at promoting healing, alleviating pain, and enhancing overall wellness for our diverse patient community. Your expertise will help patients achieve better health outcomes through personalized care plans that integrate traditional Chinese medicine principles with modern medical understanding. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in patients' lives while working in a vibrant, supportive environment dedicated to holistic health. Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments, including physical examinations and medical history reviews, to determine appropriate acupuncture treatments. Develop and implement customized treatment plans targeting acute pain management, chronic conditions, or general wellness goals. Perform acupuncture procedures using sterile techniques, ensuring patient safety and comfort at all times. Utilize specialized techniques such as trigger point therapy and other adjunct therapies to optimize pain relief and muscle relaxation. Educate patients on post-treatment care, lifestyle adjustments, and self-care practices to support ongoing health improvements. Maintain accurate documentation of treatments, patient progress notes, and treatment outcomes in compliance with healthcare regulations. Ensure all procedures adhere to aseptic techniques and maintain a clean, safe treatment environment in accordance with healthcare standards. Qualifications Valid licensure as a Licensed Acupuncturist with relevant state or regional licensing boards. CPR Certification and BLS Certification are required to ensure preparedness for emergency situations. Demonstrated expertise in acute pain management, trigger point therapy, and comprehensive patient care. Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and the principles of pain management. Experience performing patient assessments, physical examinations, and utilizing appropriate medical terminology during consultations. Proficiency in aseptic technique to prevent infections during treatments. Excellent communication skills with a focus on delivering compassionate patient service and education. Prior experience in managing diverse patient needs with a focus on holistic health approaches is preferred.
