In this role, you will deliver expert acupuncture treatments aimed at alleviating pain, improving overall wellness, and supporting patient recovery. You will utilize your deep knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology to assess patient needs accurately and develop personalized treatment plans. Duties Perform comprehensive patient assessments through physical examinations and detailed consultations to identify specific pain points and health concerns. Develop and implement tailored acupuncture treatment plans that target acute pain management, trigger point therapy, and overall pain relief strategies. Use advanced techniques such as trigger point therapy and other acupuncture modalities to optimize patient outcomes. Maintain strict aseptic techniques during all procedures to ensure safety and prevent infections. Educate patients on their conditions, treatment options, and self-care practices to enhance their overall well-being. Document treatment sessions meticulously, including patient progress notes, treatment responses, and any modifications needed for future sessions. Stay current with the latest developments in acupuncture, physiology, and pain management techniques to continually improve your practice. Qualifications Proven experience in acupuncture with a focus on acute pain management and trigger point therapy. Strong knowledge of human physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to acupuncture practice. Skilled in patient assessment, physical examinations, and applying appropriate acupuncture techniques. Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional patient service with a compassionate approach to care. Knowledge of aseptic technique standards to ensure safe treatment environments. Excellent communication skills for explaining procedures and engaging with diverse patient populations. Certification or licensing as required by local regulations for practicing acupuncture.
