Most commonly addressed; detoxification, swelling reduction, pain relief, digestive support, lymphedema and lipodema, sinus congestion, allergies, pre/post surgery recovery. Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans. Integrate therapeutic techniques and equipment to enhance therapy and results, such as red light therapy, myofacial release, mobility and movement, castor oil packs, gentle cupping as indicated. Educate clients on post-treatment care and lifestyle adjustments to maximize benefits. Maintain detailed records of treatments provided and monitor patient progress over time. Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment adhering to occupational health standards. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop integrated wellness plans for clients. Stay current with advancements in therapy techniques through ongoing education. Skills Proven experience in patient service with excellent customer service skills. Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology relevant to manual therapy. Skilled in manual lymphatic drainage, myofacial release, ROM, active and passive release, stretching and mobility techniques, rebounding, and pain management techniques. Ability to assess patient needs accurately and develop customized treatment plans. Familiarity with occupational health standards and best practices for safety and hygiene in a healthcare setting. Previous integrative and holistic healthcare experience is preferred but not required; a passion and understanding for holistic wellness is a priority. Excellent communication skills to educate clients effectively about their treatments and health strategies. Our wellness center offers integrative holistic healthcare. We strive to provide supportive and prevent care to our customers as well as education to empower them to take control of their own health. We have a wide variety in our client demographics. The strongest elements of our practice are post surgery and injury recovery, chronic pain, auto-immune and Lyme's disease, transformational healing, mindfulness, client support and education. Experience and proficiency in MLD, myofacial release, stretching techniques assessment skills, and clinical manual therapy modalities. Be confident and proficient working with clients who are post surgery/injury, pain management, Lyme, auto-immune, pregnancy/postpartum. Weekday, evening and weekend hours - scheduled days TBD Part-time aiming to 15+ hours of client contact per week Details Hired as W2We will help you build your client base and also encourage you to self-promote and network. Having at least a small client base to bring to the practice is preferred but not required. Part-time building to full time. You must hold a current Connecticut License and be registered and insured in your field. Hold current CPR certificate or willing to become certified - Online certification acceptable At least 2 years experience in your field is preferred but not required for the right candidate.
