Duties Perform precise lymphatic drainage massage techniques tailored to individual client needs, focusing on gentle, rhythmic strokes that stimulate lymph flow. Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans based on client health history, physiology, and specific concerns. Educate clients on post-treatment care and lifestyle adjustments to maximize results and promote ongoing wellness. Maintain detailed treatment records, documenting techniques used, client responses, and progress over time. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals or medical staff when necessary to ensure holistic patient care. Stay current with advancements in massage therapy, lymphatic health, and related medical terminology through ongoing education. Ensure a safe and hygienic environment by adhering to occupational health standards and sanitation protocols at all times. Skills Extensive knowledge of human physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology related to the lymphatic system and massage therapy. Proven experience in patient service with a focus on customer satisfaction and personalized care. Skilled in deep tissue massage techniques, trigger point therapy, and pain management strategies to support overall treatment goals. Strong ability to perform thorough patient assessments and develop customized treatment plans aligned with individual needs. Excellent communication skills for explaining procedures clearly and empathetically while fostering a positive client experience. Prior experience working in a medical spa or similar environment is highly desirable, demonstrating familiarity with occupational health standards.
