Job Summary Join our wellness team as a Relaxation Massage Technician, where your expertise will help clients unwind, relieve stress, and improve overall well-being. In this dynamic role, you will deliver soothing massage therapies tailored to individual needs, fostering a calming environment that promotes relaxation and health. Duties Perform professional relaxation massage sessions utilizing techniques such as Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and other modalities to alleviate tension and pain Conduct patient assessments to understand individual needs, preferences, and areas requiring special attention Educate clients on massage benefits, aftercare tips, and recommended treatment plans to support ongoing wellness goals Maintain a clean, safe, and tranquil treatment environment in accordance with health and safety standards Document client sessions accurately, including treatment details and progress notes for future reference Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless scheduling and exceptional customer service experience Stay informed about the latest massage techniques, physiology knowledge, and medical terminology relevant to therapeutic practices Skills Strong patient service skills with a genuine desire to help clients relax and recover Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology related to musculoskeletal health Experience in deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and pain management techniques Ability to perform thorough patient assessments to customize treatments effectively Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor Familiarity with occupational health standards within spa or med spa environments Previous experience in med spas or wellness centers is highly desirable Embark on a rewarding career where your hands-on skills make a meaningful difference!
