Aesthetic Assistant

Overview AMANI Aesthetics is a modern, medically-driven aesthetics and wellness clinic focused on advanced skin treatments, injectables, wellness, laser services, body contouring, and personalized patient care. We are currently seeking a highly motivated and dependable Part-Time Aesthetic Assistant to join our growing team. This position is ideal for someone passionate about aesthetics, wellness, patient care, laser technology, social media, and the beauty industry who thrives in a fast-paced, luxury clinical environment. The ideal candidate is professional, coachable, organized, detail-oriented, outgoing, and eager to grow within the medical aesthetics and wellness field. This role will support providers with patient care, clinical flow, wellness services, body contouring, laser hair removal support, social media content creation, and overall clinic operations while helping maintain the elevated experience and standards our patients expect at AMANI. Candidates should be comfortable working in a highly visible, brand-focused environment where social media, marketing, patient education, and community presence are an important part of daily operations. Responsibilities Assist providers during aesthetic and wellness treatments Prepare treatment rooms, supplies, and devices for daily patient care Perform patient intake, charting assistance, photography, and clinical documentation Apply topical numbing and assist with patient preparation and post-care Perform EvolveX body contouring treatments and wellness services Assist with laser hair removal treatments under delegation and supervision according to New Mexico regulations and clinic protocols Assist with IV therapy Educate patients on treatment preparation, post-care, skincare, and wellness recommendations Maintain inventory, clinical cleanliness, and organization throughout the clinic Ensure all treatment rooms and devices remain sanitized, stocked, and patient-ready Assist with clinic flow, patient experience, and operational efficiency Assist with bookings, social media content creation, behind-the-scenes content, patient education content, treatment videos/photos, and maintaining an active online brand presence Capture professional before-and-after content and support the clinic's social media and marketing initiatives Support occasional community events, promotional events, and seasonal clinic initiatives Qualifications Must be 18 years of age or older Must hold an active Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), or Registered Nurse (RN) license/certification Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred Previous experience in aesthetics, dermatology, plastic surgery, medical spa, wellness, or healthcare preferred Previous IV therapy experience and/or certification is strongly preferred Previous laser hair removal training, certification, or experience with aesthetic devices is strongly preferred Strong professionalism, reliability, and work ethic required Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced clinical environment Comfortable working with medical devices, technology, charting systems, and photography Strong patient communication and customer service skills required Strong social media skills and understanding of modern aesthetics/wellness branding required Comfortable creating content, appearing on social media, and contributing to the clinic's online presence Experience with Instagram, TikTok, Canva, content creation, photography, and video editing strongly preferred Must understand professionalism and brand representation both in person and online Creative mindset with ability to contribute to marketing, patient engagement, and brand growth initiatives Ability to work collaboratively within a team-focused environment Must be coachable, detail-oriented, and able to take direction well Interest in aesthetics, wellness, lasers, skin health, and body contouring strongly preferred Current CPR/BLS certification Flexibility for rotating schedules, seasonal treatment demand, occasional Saturdays, events, and promotional support required Schedule Part-Time Rotating schedule based on clinic needs and provider scheduling. Hours may vary seasonally depending on clinic demand, events, wellness services, and body contouring/laser scheduling. Some Fridays, occasional Saturdays, evenings, and event support may be required.
