At-Will Employment Position Summary We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT) or Associate Clinical Social Worker (ACSW) to join our private group practice. This position provides psychotherapy services to adult individuals and couples in a professional outpatient setting. This role will begin as a part-time position with the potential to transition to full-time based on clinician performance, caseload development, and operational needs. Clients are provided by the practice. Individual supervision is provided at no cost to the associate and is required as part of employment in compliance with California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) requirements. This is a fully in-person position. Remote and telehealth-only arrangements are not available. Required Qualifications Active California AMFT or ACSW registration in good standing at the time of application. Minimum 500 hours of post-graduate direct clinical experience. Experience providing psychotherapy services to adult clients. Ability to provide services in person at the practice location. Availability to work a fixed schedule that includes evening hours until 8:00 PM and Saturday availability. Strong clinical assessment, treatment planning, documentation, and communication skills. Ability to complete all clinical documentation on-site. Preferred Qualifications Bilingual in English and Spanish. Experience providing couples therapy. Experience treating anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, relationship concerns, and life transitions. Experience working with culturally diverse adult populations. Essential Duties Conduct intake assessments and develop treatment plans. Provide psychotherapy services to adult individuals and couples. Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation. Complete progress notes and required documentation within 24 hours of service delivery. Participate in required weekly individual supervision meetings. Maintain professional and ethical standards consistent with BBS regulations. Collaborate with administrative staff to support quality client care. Work Environment Private group practice. Adult outpatient population. Individual and couples therapy services. Shared office/workspace. Administrative support provided. Clients and referrals provided by the practice. Fixed schedule. In-person services only. Caseload Expectations Approximately 24 client sessions per week. Opportunity to increase caseload and transition to full-time status based on operational needs and mutual fit. Supervision One hour of individual supervision provided weekly. Supervision is provided at no cost to the associate while employed with the practice. Supervision is provided in accordance with California BBS requirements. Supervision time is compensated. Compensation & Benefits $40.00 per hour. Paid supervision time. Part-time position. Not eligible for employer-sponsored benefits while part-time. No paid holidays. Paid sick leave provided in accordance with California law. Additional Information Documentation is completed on-site and is expected to be finalized within 24 hours of service delivery. Documentation time is incorporated into scheduled client appointment blocks. Spanish fluency is preferred but does not include additional compensation.
