This role is ideal for a licensed clinician who values trauma-informed care, nervous system regulation, and deeper emotional healing work within a holistic mental health framework.

Position Details:

Contract therapist position Licensed clinicians only 10-20 hours per week available, based on caseload and fit In-office visits required

Location:

San Diego, CA 92103

Required Qualifications:

Active California license as PMHNP, LMFT, LCSW, LPCC, or Psychologist Independent clinical practice eligibility Standing, regular weekly in-office availability Strong clinical documentation skills Warm, grounded, trauma-informed presence

Preferred Qualifications:

EMDR certified Brainspotting certified Experience with PTSD, anxiety, emotional dysregulation, complex trauma, children, adolescents, adults, and/or military-connected families Interest in somatic, integrative, and nervous-system-informed approaches

Responsibilities:

Provide individual psychotherapy services in office and virtual Use trauma-informed, evidence-based, and somatic approaches as appropriate Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation Communicate clearly regarding client care, scheduling, and clinical concerns Coordinate with the practice team when clinically appropriate This is a good fit for a licensed therapist who is clinically grounded, reliable, and interested in supporting clients through meaningful trauma healing work.
