1330 U St NW, Washington, DC (1 block west of U St Metro - Yellow/Green Line) The Capital Center for Psychotherapy and Wellness is seeking a licensed or license-eligible psychotherapist (Psychologist, LICSW, LPC, LMFT) with experience working with adults and specialized expertise in LGBTQIA+ communities. A cover letter is required with all applications. CCPW is a holistic mental health and wellness practice founded in 2015 by Dr. Gregory Jones, a clinical psychologist specializing in addiction, LGBTQ+ health, eating disorders, sex therapy, and psychedelic-assisted therapy. Our center integrates multiple disciplines to support clients from a whole-person perspective. Our services include individual, couples, and group therapy; psychiatry; acupuncture and Chinese medicine; massage therapy; nutrition therapy; infrared sauna; personal training; yoga; and group fitness.

Available for full-time clinicians Supervision opportunities: Ability to supervise doctoral-level trainees if desired Ideal Candidate We are seeking a clinician who: Thrives in a collaborative, integrative, and holistic care environment Has experience working with LGBTQ+ clients and/or identifies as part of the community Is knowledgeable about trauma (EMDR certified ideal) diversity, social justice, and marginalized populations Thinks creatively and values innovative, whole-person care Values mentorship and professional development\ Brings a unique are of interest/specialization to the practice Psychologist / Psychotherapist Responsibilities Assess adult clients using interviews, psychometric tools, behavioral observation, and record review Develop and monitor treatment plans addressing cognitive, emotional, social, and behavioral concerns Provide individual therapy and other interventions for anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction, interpersonal issues, and other mental health needs Provide psychological testing if desired and credentialed to provide testing. Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team of healthcare and wellness professionals Offer consultation to colleagues and contribute to interdisciplinary best practices Maintain accurate documentation, including progress notes, assessments, and treatment summaries Participate in ongoing professional development and applied clinical research Ensure safety and compliance with policies, regulations, and accreditation standards Provide supervision and training opportunities as appropriate Actively build and maintain a client caseload Manage electronic health records, billing submissions, and revenue tracking through TherapyNotes Skills and Qualifications Proficiency with electronic health records Strong verbal communication and telephone skills Organized, professional, and able to work under pressure Microsoft Office proficiency Client-focused with strong listening and interpersonal skills Entrepreneurial orientation with a growth mindset To Apply Please submit your resume and required cover letter.
