Every tea in our apothecary is a proprietary recipe, thoughtfully developed and hand blended by the owners. We're looking for someone who values connection, enjoys learning, and wants to become deeply familiar with the world of tea, herbs, and wellness. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both customer interaction and behind-the-scenes preparation in a growing small business. What You'll Do Prepare and serve handcrafted iced and hot tea beverages following proprietary recipes and standards Educate customers on teas, herbs, flavor profiles, and intended uses while providing a welcoming experience Assist guests in selecting loose leaf teas, herbal blends, and retail products suited to their preferences Learn our unique formulations, ingredient knowledge, brewing methods, and apothecary practices Package, stock, and organize proprietary tea blends and retail inventory Maintain cleanliness and organization of beverage preparation areas, retail spaces, and back-of-house storage Support opening and closing procedures Process transactions and assist with day-to-day retail operations Contribute to social atmosphere, events, tastings, and community engagement opportunities as needed Help support the growth of a small, family-run business where flexibility and teamwork matter

We're Looking For Someone Who:

Is dependable, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently Enjoys connecting with people and creating memorable customer experiences Has curiosity about herbs, wellness, tea culture, or holistic lifestyles (experience not required — willingness to learn is important) Appreciates the pace and responsibilities that come with a small business environment Can multitask between beverage preparation, customer service, and retail duties Values attention to detail and consistency Is willing to learn basic concepts of tea and all product available to assist our customers Weekend (Saturday only) availability Preferred (But Not Required) Experience in coffee shops, cafés, retail, hospitality, or customer service Interest in herbalism, functional beverages, holistic wellness, or nutrition Experience handling food and beverage preparation What Makes This Different Working at Steep Me means becoming part of a family-built business where recipes are handcrafted, products are intentionally developed, and customers value education as much as the drink itself. Pay:

$16-$20/hr + tips

Schedule:

As of right now, we are open M-F 7:30-5:30, Saturday 8-4, Closed Sunday. Availability during any of these hours, as reasonably expected.
