Duties Perform a variety of massage techniques including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy to address individual client needs Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans and ensure safety Deliver effective pain management therapies tailored to each client's physiology and medical history Educate clients on post-treatment care, stretching routines, and self-care strategies for ongoing wellness Maintain detailed documentation of treatments, patient responses, and progress notes in compliance with medical terminology standards Uphold the highest standards of patient service by creating a relaxing, professional environment that prioritizes client comfort and satisfaction Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize treatment outcomes and support occupational health initiatives Skills Proven experience in patient service with a focus on therapeutic massage techniques Excellent patient assessment skills to tailor treatments based on individual needs and health conditions Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and empathetically with diverse clients Familiarity with occupational health practices to support workplace wellness programs Prior med spa experience is highly desirable, demonstrating familiarity with clinical environments and advanced therapeutic modalities
