Job Description

Acupuncturist 1651 North Collins Boulevard, Richardson, TX 75080 From $55 an hour - Full-time From $55 an hour - Full-time This is a part-time to full-time on-site role for an Acupuncturist, located at the Texas Acupuncture Research Institute in Richardson, TX. Expertise in acu and herbs required, cupping, moxa, and bodywork are a plus. Role requires patient assessment, creating treatment plan, and treating within role. Practice manager will take care of scheduling, payment, and patient communications as needed. You are expected to bring in clients and retain a full schedule within 60 days of hire. Collaboration with other healthcare practitioners and educating patients about wellness strategies are expected as well, blah blah blah. The skinny of it is, we need someone who has both the ability to heal, and the desire to succeed. During the first two months, you are expected to acclimatize to the office, connect with the community, and build your clientele. We'll give you all of the tools necessary. The success is up to you. At 60 days, it is expected that you'll go full time with benefits working at the clinic. Acupuncturist who wish to remain part time will require further discussion. Qualifications Strong expertise in Acupuncture and Moxibustion practices Knowledge of Oriental Medicine principles and techniques Proficiency in Herbal remedies and their applications Background in general Medicine with a focus on holistic care Current Texas-registered LAc (will discuss if relocating) Strong interpersonal and communication skills Experience working in a clinical setting The ability -and desire- to learn and grow Pay/Benefits Part time pay is $40/hour, expected 24 hours/week. Full time pay is $75,000/year, expected 32 hours/week with full benefits (health, vacation, 401k, bonuses) Free treatments 1/week for you or family member, all other treatments at cost of practitioner. All equipment and training covered Holidays paid off while part time, vacation when full time.
