Location:
Washington, DC Job Summary Seeking an experienced Anesthesia Technician for a 13-week travel assignment. The technician will support anesthesia providers by preparing equipment and supplies for procedures, assisting with room setup and turnover, maintaining anesthesia equipment, and ensuring operating rooms are fully stocked and ready for cases. This role does not involve direct patient care. Responsibilities Set up and check anesthesia machines and related equipment. Prepare operating rooms for surgical procedures. Assist anesthesia providers during procedures and critical situations. Maintain and troubleshoot anesthesia equipment. Prepare and manage airway equipment, including ET tubes, LMAs, laryngoscopes, and Glidescopes. Set up IV pumps, arterial line equipment, and monitoring devices. Perform room turnover between cases. Assist with patient transport and positioning. Follow infection control, sterilization, safety, and PPE protocols. Maintain anesthesia supplies and equipment inventory. Requirements Minimum 2 years of recent Anesthesia Technician experience. At least 1 completed travel assignment required. Experience in an Operating Room or Ambulatory Surgery setting. BLS certification required. Cer.

A.T certification preferred. Knowledge of anesthesia equipment, airway management, and anesthesia procedures. Experience with anesthesia machine setup and troubleshooting. Strong understanding of OR safety and infection control practices. Schedule & Additional Information 40 hours per week. One weekend shift per month (Saturday or Sunday). No call required. Local candidates accepted at a local rate. Flu vaccine required. BI02
