Summary:

Ensures that equipment, such as life support/mechanical ventilators etc. are decontaminated, processed, re-assembled, calibrated and operationally checked according to manufacturer specifications. Delivers, monitors, maintains, and safeguards medical grade gases throughout the facility, including cylinders of various sizes and liquid oxygen systems. Performs adjustments and repairs on selected equipment in consultation with the Biomedical Department. Ensures that equipment and supplies are accessible, in good condition and of sufficient quantity to meet patient care needs. Performs other duties as assigned.
