Job description Description This contract position offers an opportunity to work on-site, providing critical support in anesthesiology within a reputable medical practice. As a Locum AA, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality anesthesia care, collaborating with anesthesiologists and healthcare professionals to ensure patient safety and comfort during surgical procedures. This position is ideal for those looking to enhance their skills in a supportive environment while making a significant impact on patient care. Responsibilities Assist anesthesiologists in the administration of anesthesia during surgical procedures Monitor patients' vital signs and adjust anesthesia levels as required Ensure the safe and efficient operation of anesthesia equipment Participate in pre-operative assessments and post-anesthesia care Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes Maintain accurate patient records and documentation Educate patients and their families on anesthesia-related procedures Stay current with best practices and advancements in anesthesia care Requirements Associate's degree in Anesthesia Technology or a related field Current certification as an Anesthesiologist Assistant (AA) or equivalent Strong clinical skills and understanding of anesthesia principles Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills Commitment to patient safety and quality care Experience in a surgical setting preferred

Monday-Friday, 7a-3pPatient Volume:
8-10 per dayCase Types:
